Programme Aims The Master of Science in Materials Intelligence (MSc in MI) programme aims to achieve the following: • To provide students with a comprehensive interdisciplinary foundation in Materials Intelligence, covering AI for Science and AI + Materials research, as well as applications of Embodied AI and Physical AI. • To equip students to use AI, robotics, large language models, digital twins and AI agents to accelerate the design, discovery, synthesis and manufacturing of new materials. • To enable students to understand and develop advanced materials for AI and robotics industries, including next-generation robotic infrastructure, AI chips, renewable energies and emerging space manufacturing. Tuition fees will not be charged for the 1-credit "Academic Integrity and Ethics in Business".
In addition, students have to pay the fees for a summer school course offered by an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school outside Greater China. Students make the payment of course fee directly to the offering institution, and also bear the costs of travel, accommodation, visa, insurance, etc. The MSc BM programme does not charge a fee for the 6 credits.
The list of summer school courses available to students is reviewed regularly. Regarding the fees of some summer school courses in the previous years, please refer to the MSc BM Website.
Selected MSc BM students for the "MSc BM-DBM Connect" study option will be allowed to take up to two 3-credit DBM electives during their MSc BM studies to fulfil the elective requirement for MSc BM programme. Students are required to pay the DBM tuition fee for these DBM elective(s).

Merit-based Scholarships are available to the Mixed-mode Full-time students only and not applicable to the Mixed-mode Part-time students.

学费HK$519,000 per programme (HK$17,300 per credit for 30 credits) for local and non-local students
Tuition fees will not be charged for the 1-credit "Academic Integrity and Ethics in Business".
Students taking the elective subject "International Experience" will pay the course fee directly to the offering institution and bear the costs of travel, accommodation, visa application, insurance, etc. themselves. The MSc AWM programme will not charge the credit fee for taking the "International Experience" subject.
