相关历史History
大炮台建于1617至1626年间，隶属圣保禄学院，1622年澳门遭荷兰舰队入侵，炮台发炮击中敌船火药舱，奠定威名。此后长期为军事禁区，1965年曾改建气象台，1998年澳门博物馆在台顶落成开放。炮台与大三巴牌坊同属「澳门历史城区」世界遗产核心，城墙以夯土包石工艺砌成，是远东近代防御工事的代表，古炮至今仍指向内港方向，台顶古井与军火库遗迹犹存。
Built 1617–26 for St Paul's College, the fort made its name in 1622 when its guns blew up a Dutch powder ship. A military zone for centuries, it became the site of the Macao Museum in 1998. Its rammed-earth-and-stone walls survive as a landmark of early modern Far Eastern fortification within the UNESCO core, guns still trained on the Inner Harbour.
