咀香园饼家1935年创立，是澳门手信业的开山字号之一，把炭烤杏仁饼做成「来澳门必买」的招牌：绿豆粉混杏仁粒、木模压饼、炭炉慢烤，工序保留至今。数十年间，咀香园与后起的手信品牌共同把杏仁饼、猪肉干、蛋卷写进「澳门手信」的标准组合，也把「边烤边卖、试吃到饱」做成行业惯例。对旅客而言，它是老派澳门的味道记忆；对手信行业而言，它是绕不开的祖师爷。
Founded in 1935, Choi Heong Yuen is the grand old name of Macao's souvenir trade, its charcoal-grilled almond cake — mung-bean flour, almond bits, wooden mould, slow fire — still made the old way. Together with younger rivals it defined the "Macao gift" canon and the sample-everything shop culture; for travellers it remains the taste of old-school Macao.
