A Wan Chai ice-room opened in the 1940s, claiming a 192-layer flaky egg tart that, with its signature coffee, has been a generations-long afternoon ritual. The old booths and floor tiles freeze time. Come not just to eat, but to sit inside a picture of old Hong Kong.
